A complete success! Doggis celebrates 35 years of serving up classic hot dogs and ice cream

At Doggis, we’re celebrating 35 years of history, leading the hot dog and ice cream segment. To commemorate this milestone in the food industry, we celebrated with employees, suppliers, and franchisees at one of the chain’s most modern locations: Doggis Mallplaza Vespucio.

Recognizing our Franchisees

The occasion was also perfect for highlighting the trust, effort, and dedication of the franchisees who have been fundamental to Doggis’ growth, both in Chile and abroad. For this reason, awards were given to the franchisees who have been franchising with the brand for 10 years in 2024.

Those recognized were Julio de la Fuente Sr. and Julio de la Fuente Jr., both franchise partners with Carlos Larraín; Andrés Herrera; Cristian Barceló; and Marcelo Bozzo. We thank them for their commitment over more than a decade, managing several of our Doggis franchises.

Lifetime Achievement Award for Employees

Valeria Tobar, Director of Human Resources, praised the commitment of the entire G&N Brands family. "This anniversary was not just about celebrating, but also about recognizing the employees who have been with us for more than three decades."

Thus, the Lifetime Achievement Award was given to seven team members: Constanza López, Training Leader; Maricela Sanhueza, Operations Manager; Lizeth Levin, Operations Manager; and Robinson Peña, Operations Manager. They were joined by Vanessa Torres, Manager of Doggis Tottus Colina; Raquel Fernández, Manager of Doggis San Borja; and Fabiola Henríquez, Manager of Doggis Mallplaza Los Ángeles.

Doggis’ International Expansion

It’s also worth noting that Doggis has become a true source of pride for our country. In 2023, alongside Barrio Chick’en, it became the first brand in our franchise portfolio to expand to Mexico, in partnership with Grupo Flecha Amarilla. By the first half of this year, we have already reached six locations in that country, with plans to open hundreds of outlets once kitchens are set up in key cities like Mexico City.

We believe these achievements are the result of teamwork, with employees, franchisees, and suppliers playing key roles. That’s why, on this 35th anniversary, we want to thank everyone for making us a leading brand in Chile, Mexico, and around the world.
